Safe harbor is a program that assists SAE Alumni if you find yourself unable to travel due to alcohol while attending any event sponsored by the New Orleans SAE Alumni Association.  While we do allow alcohol to be consumed at our events, it MUST be purchased by you. We do not furnish alcohol at any of our events. Our policy is simple. If you choose to consume alcohol, please do so responsibly.

          Let us know if you have gone too far. We will pay for an Uber, Lyft or taxi to assist you in arriving home safely one time only.  Simply let any officer, committee member or participant know your situation.  This is a "one time offer".  Anyone abusing alcohol at any of our events will be deleted from our ranks and not invited to any future events. We monitor our guests at every event. If we suspect you are in need of assistance, we will speak to you directly in private.  Again, we monitor our guests very carefully.
